In order to make your stay in Simakakang Villa fruitful and peaceful, and so that you can always return, please collaborate with us following these rental rules:
Each reservation made will require a deposit 30% of the total rental amount. Deposits are required no more than 7 working days after receiving the invoice.
A security deposit of 500 USD is required. This must be received when you check in. The deposit automatically converts to a security / damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is not applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable in the check-out, provided the following provisions are met.
No damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
No charges are incurred due to illegal activity, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in rubbish bin, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.
All keys are left on the kitchen table and unit is left locked.
All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
No linens are lost or damaged.
No early arrival or late departure.
The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the local law enforcement.
The final balance due must be paid in full 60 days before your arrival date.
All payments need to be made to the US Dollar account as listed on the invoice. The sender must ensure the amount is received in full of the total amount, including any bank fees incurred for the transfer of currency and all the bank charges & fees plus the fees of the corresponding bank(s).
Changes and Cancellation by you
Deposit is nonrefundable.
Cancellations that are made more than one hundred and twenty (120) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty only if we find someone else to book the Villa during the same period. A US $ 50 administration fee will be charged by Mentawai Accommodation for any change of booking after a reservation has been confirmed. Acceptance of any change is subject to approval by Mentawai Accommodation and the villa owner.
Changes and Cancellation by us
Occasionally, we have to make changes to and correct errors on our website descriptions and other details both before and after bookings have been confirmed and cancel confirmed bookings. Whilst we always endeavor to avoid changes and cancellations, we must reserve the right to do so. If we have to make a significant change to or cancel your booking, we will tell you as soon as possible. We will endeavor to offer you an alternative should a significant change or cancellation occur. We regret we cannot pay any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation.
We regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of “force majeure”. In these Booking Conditions, “force majeure” means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid.
